Hey 👋

Using a connector with Edusign requires special attention to a few things. In particular, creating resources (learners, speakers, sheets...) manually on Edusign.

Here are a few tips to help you avoid unexpected problems.

✏️ Don't create resources manually.

Resources are synchronized with Edusign on a regular basis. However, it may happen that a resource (learner, speaker, sheet...) is not imported due to an error in entering information on your connector, such as a missing e-mail.

For this reason, we recommend that you never create resources manually on Edusign, in order to avoid duplicates and other errors, especially for learners or lecturers.

You may create an attendance sheet in an emergency, using existing learners and lecturers.

If in doubt, please contact the Edusign team via chat on, who will get back to you as soon as possible.

🤦‍♂️ The information sent to Edusign is not correct.

In the event of incorrect information, such as an erroneous e-mail, it is preferable to wait for the next synchronization, so that changes can be made automatically from your connector. In the event of an emergency, the information must be correctly modified on Edusign and on your connected software.

In this way, synchronization will be correct and will not overwrite data or add duplicates.

🤖 View synchronization information (logs) Edusign <> Connector

By hovering your mouse over My Account in the top right-hand corner, you'll be able to access the installed Connector menu (X). You'll then be able to view information about it. From the Events and Logs sub-tab, you'll be able to view all synchronization operations performed between Edusign and your connector.
